Intra-uterine systems/devices (coils)
An intrauterine system (IUS) is a small T-shaped plastic device that is placed in the womb (uterus) and releases a hormone (progestogen) which thins the lining of the womb giving rise to lighter and possibly no periods. Dr Byrne offers both the Mirena and the Jaydess systems. The Mirena system has a contraceptive action of up to 5 years and if fitted after age 45 the coil may remain in place until menopause. The Jaydess coil is smaller and narrower than the Mirena and lasts 3years. Finding it hard to make sense of everything you’ve learned about the perimenopause, menopause and hormonal health, and harder still to put into practice in your own life?
I know... Hormones are incredibly complex and can be ridiculously confusing, especially if you’re trying to heal your menopause symptoms on your own.
You can take control of your hormones and overcome your menopausal and peri-menopausal symptoms, and start to heal your hormones.
Have you ever wished you could pinpoint exactly what’s going on with your hormones?
You can by using an advanced comprehensive and accurate picture of what’s going on.
It’s called The DUTCH test. (Dry Urine Test For Comprehensive Hormones)
Using the DUTCH Test to help you overcome issues such as:
- Weight gain
- Low energy levels
- Chronic stress
- Anxiety
- Hormonal migraines
- Acne
- Insomnia
- Hot flushes
- Depression
- Low libido
